HR Assistant- Holler-Classic Family of Dealerships/Marc Media

We are looking for the missing piece to our Human Resource team! If you are new to Human Resources and searching for an entry level role this position is for you. When you join us, you will get the opportunity to support two great companies:

Job Expectations:

  • Partner with recruiter to develop a creative recruitment strategy maintaining a pipeline of qualified candidates through a variety of networks
  • Assist recruiter to attract candidates by writing and maintaining job postings
  • Assist with recruitment activities, including screening resumes/applications, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates
  • Assist facilitating a fun, engaging and informative New Hire Orientation
  • Accurate and timely new hire entry in the HRIS and affiliated onboarding electronic systems
  • Process new hire paperwork including pay plans, I-9s, etc.
  • Process employment documentation, including offer letters, status changes, and other personnel actions
  • Conduct exit interviews for separating employees
  • Maintain statistical and tracking reporting, i.e., hiring, terms, etc.
  • Assist employees with basic benefits, payroll, and policy inquiries
  • Support benefits enrollment and annual open enrollment activities
  • HR reports, metrics, and other administrative documents
  • Coordinate employee engagement activities and recognition programs
  • Track and maintain training records, certifications, and compliance documentation
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, company policies, and trends
  • Assist preparing EEO reports for FCC
  • Backup for reception when needed
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information
  • Provide administrative support to the HR team
  • Comfortable traveling to locations away from office
  • Participating in special projects
  • Miscellaneous HR administration duties
  • Perform additional duties as assigned/needed

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 4-year degree in Human Resources or HR Certification, a plus
  • Bi-lingual a plus
  • Minimum of two years HR experience preferred
  • Recruiting experience preferred
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams)
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information professionally
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Pass pre-employment background screening
  • Valid driver license with acceptable driving record
  • Reliable transportation
